Job Description: IGT Pharma is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join our team. In this individual role, you will be responsible for developing stockiest and driving direct sales to hospitals in the critical care segment across multiple locations in Gujarat and Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in critical care, and a strong network in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate the critical care segment market and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and onboard stockiest in the assigned territory to ensure adequate product availability and coverage.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital decision-makers, physicians, pharmacists, and distributors.
- Conduct regular visits to hospitals and healthcare institutions to promote IGT Pharma’s critical care products and secure direct sales.
- Provide product training and support to stockiest, distributors, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal product utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges in the critical care segment.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on critical care products.
- Strong understanding of the critical care segment market dynamics, including hospital procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Existing network and relationships with stockiest and hospitals in Gujarat and Maharashtra preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
Compensation:
- Competitive salary package ranging from 5-6 Lac per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
